Beginning his career with MISYS Group, Ben has spent 20 years working in the technology sector majoring on Content (unstructured data) and how organisations can best leverage and manage it. Through this understanding of Content, Ben has successfully grown a number of technology and service companies as part of The Content Group which he founded in 1998. As a subject matter expert and thought leader, Ben has been involved in setting global standards for a number of Content related initiatives. In 2011 Ben founded CUBE, an international RegTech provider and now the category leader for Global Regulatory Change solutions.
CUBE transforms how large financial institutions go about their risk and compliance processes. By leveraging regulatory Content on the Open Web, CUBE's AI platform provides an automated approach to monitoring, detecting and analysing global regulatory change creating the world's first single source Regulatory Data Service. CUBE's solutions enable customers to understand the impact of regulatory change on policy and procedures across all lines of business delivering end-to-end automation of critical compliance processes. CUBE has grown rapidly with offices worldwide and customers across top tier global banks, insurers and asset managers with 1.5 million users in 180 countries. For the second year running CUBE has been listed as a "RegTech Top Performer" in Market Fintech's 2017 RegTech Supplier Performance Report and is at the forefront of the development of machine automated compliance.
As well as the CEO of CUBE Ben is also an Executive Board Member and the Chapter President, UK & Ireland, of the International RegTech Association (IRTA). The IRTA was formed in 2017 and has been developed to ease and accelerate the evolution of the RegTech industry, by facilitating integration, collaboration and innovation of all stakeholders across the Financial Services sector.
Chris is a serial entrepreneur who has has founded four data and software businesses. He is recognised as a pioneer of software as a service and online business-to-business information platforms. Chris was the founder CEO of Complinet for 10 years until it was acquired by Thomson Reuters in 2010. Complinet was the leading online regulatory intelligence and software provider for the global financial services industry. Following the sale Chris worked for Thomson Reuters as SVP of the Compliance and Regulatory Risk division until November 2011.
He is now the CEO or Matchdeck - a big data platform provider focused on global corporate data. He serves on the boards of a number of private and public companies and acts as a mentor to senior executives in the software and information industry.
Philippe led the formation of the RDU, the independent service backed by Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase and Morgan Stanley which uses the proprietary SmartStream reference data solution - the only purpose-built, industry-led service available in the marketplace.
In 2009, Philippe became CEO of SmartStream, having previously served as a SmartStream board member. Philippe has held senior management positions in software and hi-tech firms for the past 15 years and was the Founder & CEO of MetaMatrix, the leading data services platform purchased by Red Hat.
Andrew has been involved in financial services throughout his business career. He was originally a corporate banker; initially with Kleinwort Benson and subsequently at ING, where he held a senior position in its asset finance business. After a spell at Noble, he co-founded Boost&Co, a private debt lender to UK SMEs, established after the financial crisis.
Andrew stepped down from his role at Boost in 2016 and is presently a partner with Cameron Barney, a specialist financial advisory firm whose client base includes many high growth technology enabled companies.
